Would you like to volunteer at BunkFest in 2026? (registration opens at Easter)

BunkFest wouldn’t be the vibrant festival it is without our incredible volunteers. From front-of-house roles to behind-the-scenes support, volunteers are the heart of everything we do.

We’re looking for volunteers to help with the festival build and breakdown, with roles including fence erection, laying trackway, supporting the technical crew, and site clear-up.

Build: 29/08/26 – 03/09/26
Breakdown: 07/09/26 – 11/09/26

Every job is vital and we need you!

You will see below more information on the main areas that we need volunteers for:

• Bucket Collecting: Taking a collection bucket around the festival (you will be asked to cover certain areas). Donations from bucket collections are essential to stage the festival and keep the festival free. (18 & above)
• Bar Staff: You will be serving drinks to the public from 12 noon onwards, taking payment for alcohol, you can find out more here. (18 & above)
• Bar Manager: You will be supervising the bar staff, dealing with public and bar staff queries and ensuring that the bar is running smoothly. Ideally have some bar management experience. (18 & above)
• Beer Technician: You will be responsible for the tapping of the beer and general support to the staff who are serving the public. (please be aware that this role involves manual handling/lifting of heavy barrels, full training will be given) (18 & above)
• Selling reusable Beer & Wine glasses: From 12 noon onwards you will be selling reusable beer and wine glasses separately to the bar and require a number of people to manage the stall, this is quieter and less demanding than the bar. (15 & above)
• Volunteer check in support: Customer-facing admin role welcoming volunteers, managing sign-in and sign-out, supporting teams and safeguarding, and helping ensure volunteers feel organised, supported, and ready for their shifts.
• Stewarding: The eyes and ears of the festival, a role that includes providing information to the public, helping with lost children and escorting vehicles on site. (18 & above) (more infomation can be found here)
• BunkFest Waster: One of the most important jobs at the festival, keeping the site clean and ensuring the bins are empty. (18 & above)
• Litter Picking: Supporting the waster’s with litter picking and rubbish control. (15 & above with parent or guardian consent form completed – click here)
• Car Parking: You will be working as a team to help park cars on Saturday and Sunday morning. (18 & above)
• Help with the build: Supporting the tech and core team managers with fence erection, laying of trackway
