James Pendle has memorised so many poems by so many different poets that he thinks he can match one to any request. Please come and test him. James is Network Rail’s Poet of Paddington Station and he has made regular appearances on BBC Radio London. This is his third year at Bunkfest. His own poems have been published in Ambit (Carol Ann Duffy was an editor) and Acumen (one of the longest-running literary magazines). Anthony Thwaite, OBE (poet and former literary editor of both The Listener and The New Statesman) has described James as “taught and controlled, funny and entertaining”.
