The Wallingford Tearoom

A very warm welcome awaits you from Phil and Laura White, owners of The Wallingford Tearoom, nestled on the first floor the beautiful Wallingford Arcade (formerly The Lamb). Access is gained through the Arcade main and rear doors.

The Tearoom will be hosting a poetry and spoken word open mic session on Saturday 1pm to 4pm in the beautiful courtyard of the arcade. Join us for an afternoon of tea, cakes, and spoken word — we welcome traditional to eclectic, haiku, free verse, story, rap, ode, elegy, sonnet, comic, limerick and more! You are welcome to watch or perform — in the courtyard or, if you are feeling brave, from the balcony above!
