The Cholsey and Wallingford Railway (the ‘singing train’)

One of the founding venues for BunkFest over 20 years ago, the Cholsey and Wallingford Railway is delighted to offer more music, dance, steam and beer than ever before!

This year, we will see the welcome return of ‘The Bunk Line’ Real Ale Bar at Wallingford Station with beer on the train as well as a range of musical entertainment, while you can relax in the historical surroundings of our recently restored Victorian railway canopy.

Known locally as ‘The Bunk’, this is the only BunkFest venue where you can hear two tunes a quarter of a mile apart! There will be musical accompaniment on most trips, and buskers and dancers on the platform for extra atmosphere.

You can buy a pint (or two) and a snack at the station or on the train! You can even start your day with a first-class coffee from the Coffee Stop – serving only the finest coffee.

Train departure times (from Wallingford):

Friday: 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm, 6:00 pm, 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm
Saturday: on the hour – 11:00 am – 7:00 pm, plus 9:00 pm and 10:45 pm
