Oxford-based 6-piece, The Balkan Wanderers, weave East-meets-West tapestries, inspired by Balkan-Gypsy and world ska/punk artists, with high-octane renditions of traditional Eastern European folk. “The musical equivalent of a fiery shot of absinthe”, the band has received radio play from 6 Music, and performed numerous shows, parties and festivals.
