Project Band

New for 2025

Project Band is a vibrant funk/soul/jazz community band led by saxophonist Simon Currie (The Manfreds). With groups in Abingdon, Newbury, and Reading – each around 20 strong – they perform at festivals and events throughout the year, celebrating live music, groove, and community spirit.
